Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has confirmed that India carried out missile strikes on multiple locations inside Pakistani territory during Operation Sindoor. Speaking on Geo News, Dar acknowledged that the Nur Khan and Shorkot airbases, along with the Rawalpindi Airport, were hit by India’s BrahMos missiles. The strikes were reportedly conducted after the terror attack in Pahalgam on May 7. Satellite images also show visible damage to the Nur Khan airbase. This marks the first official admission by Pakistan of the cross-border strikes, following earlier remarks by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Indian side has stated that these were precision retaliatory strikes, confirmed by military officials including Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
