PM Narendra Modi Reveals His Govt’s Record-Breaking Employment Numbers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted the government’s success in creating employment opportunities during a virtual address at the Rozgar Mela on Monday. He announced that over the past 18 months, nearly 10 lakh permanent government jobs have been provided across various ministries and departments – a milestone he described as a record-breaking achievement compared to previous administrations. During the event, more than 71,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly selected recruits. These individuals will serve in key sectors, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Department of Financial Services, among others.
