The India Day Parade in New York saw an impressive turnout as people from various backgrounds came together to celebrate. A standout feature of the parade was a wooden carnival float depicting the Ram Mandir, a grand pink sandstone temple from Ayodhya, decorated with flowers. The parade was alive with patriotic songs, Indian flags, dhols, and dancing, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Religious songs accompanied the float, enhancing the spiritual tone of the event. Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, who attended at the invitation of the Indian-American community, praised the parade’s display of India's divine and cultural heritage. He noted the enthusiasm of the participants and the wonderful presentation of India's values through various tableaus. Highlighting the Ram Mandir float, he emphasized India's message of global unity, equality, and the concept of the world as one family. He commended the parade as the largest and most significant representation of Indian culture globally.
