Terrorism enters the New Year not with military drills, but with repairs. More than seven months after India’s Operation Sindoor precision strikes, Pakistan is still struggling to restore key airbases that were hit. From Nur Khan in Rawalpindi to Bholari, Murid and Jacobabad, satellite imagery shows damaged hangars, patched runways and command facilities under cover. Several bases remain degraded, with fuel depots destroyed, radar systems offline and fighter infrastructure weakened. It was only in late 2025 that Pakistan’s leadership admitted the strikes, shattering years of denial. Cornered by evidence, Islamabad is now repairing damage that exposed serious military vulnerabilities.
