India's F1 circuit opened

India's Formula One track - the Buddh International Circuit - was unveiled at Greater Noida on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. The track will host the India Grand Prix on October 30. In this pic, workers watch a Red Bull car going down the track.

A Red Bull car on the track during the unveiling of the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. The track got its name from spiritual leader Gautam Buddha, founder of Buddhism.

Spread over 875 acres, the fastest lap time on the track is expected to be under 1 minute 27 seconds with average speeds crossing 210 kmph.
