WHY INVEST IN IT?

BNP Paribas Tax Advantage's portfolio leans towards large-cap stocks, although the fund mostly functions as a multi-cap fund with substantial midand small-cap exposure that aids in this scheme's performance. This fund has been in the top two quartiles for the last three years, with annualised return of 13.36  per cent, substantially higher than the category average of 8.01 per cent. Where this scheme scores is in its ability to contain its slide when the markets are down. In 2011, it lost 15 per cent compared to the category average loss of 24  per cent. The scheme's proven expertise in beating peers across different market phases makes this an attractive option.
