Metal companies have done well in the past five years, with four among the top 10.
- Coromandel International registered a net profit of Rs 150.29 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2010, against Rs 146.12 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
- Packaging material-maker Jindal Poly Films reported a y-o-y 534% jump in net profit in the third quarter of 2010-11 due to higher sales and prices of BoPET products.
