Protest over fuel price hike

Samajwadi Party activists protest against hike in fuel and LPG prises in Allahabad. Petroleum ministry officials say there was no way to avoid the fuel price hike as the public sector oil companies were making huge losses due to skyrocketing international crude prices.

Samajwadi Party activists stage demonstrations against fuel price hike and demand immediate rollback. Political parties have come down heavily on the government for striking another blow on the common man by hiking the fuel price.
