Delhivery puts retail operations on fast track

Quality Inspection: Over 15,000 products undergo rigorous quality inspection daily, certifying them as ready for sale across multiple channels.

Inbound: Inventory is sent to Delhivery's Fulfilment Centers by over 600 sellers and brands. These are then catalogued and photographed for display online.

Putaway: Delhivery staff guide products to storage bays based on product type, special storage requirements and sale velocity. The operation is completely system-guided by Delhivery's proprietary Fulfilment Management System.

Picking: Over 6000 products are picked daily from their storage bays to fulfil seller orders. Orders may be generated across multiple sales channels like websites, market-places, retail outlets, call center etc.

Dispatch: Delhivery's Fulfilment Management System then places pick-up requests up to 6 times daily with Delhivery's Transport Management System (FALCON) to schedule final transportation and delivery to customers.

Packaging: Products are packaged in seller-specific or Delhivery's standard boxes. Care is taken to manage special packaging requirements for fragile items, liquids and high value products.
