Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said it has bagged a Rs 1,210 crore order from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) for supply and construction of sub-stations.
L&T's power transmission & distribution division has bagged the Rs 1,210 crore order from KAHRAMAA for supply and construction of 13 substations in Qatar, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The contract encompasses design and construction of civil buildings with a complete set of utilities such as air conditioning, fire protection, lighting systems and much more, the filing said.

L&T to seek nod to demerge electrical business L&T recently completed the delivery of six 66-kv substations for KAHRAMAA, which is the government body of Qatar for transmission & distribution of electricity.
Shares of L&T were trading in the green with gains of nearly 1 per cent to Rs 1822.45 at 11.45 am on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
