Xiaomi unveils smart electric cycle in China

Xiaomi has unveiled an foldable electric bicycle in China that costs approximately Rs 30,000.

The smartphone firm said the Qicycle is made of carbon fibre and is powered by 250W-36V electric motor.

The cycle packs a numbers of sensors and weighs only 7 kg. It uses Panasonic 18650 mAh battery on which users can cycle up to 45 km. Even after the bicycle runs out of battery, it can be paddled with the aid of shimano gear shifters.

Qicycle can measure calories burned, distance travelled and travelling speed.
