The unions' industrial action, including an overtime ban and work to rule action, which began on Tuesday morning will be suspended from Wednesday to Saturday.
Ahead of June 22, the unions plan to embark on industrial action
short of a strike, involving an overtime ban and a work to rule, from
around the middle of next week.
Tata Steel, Europe's second-largest steelmaker, said in
October it is in talks to sell its loss-making long products division,
which employs 6,500 people mostly in the UK, to Klesch.
Both steelmakers have previously said they
oppose iron ore and steel derivatives on the grounds that such
instruments can give speculators undue price influence.
