Priced at Rs 8.9 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), Mitsubishi India launched the 2012 edition of the Cedia sedan. The mid-size sedan called the Cedia Select boasts of a range of new features.
Powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, the Cedia sedan churns out 115PS of max power and 175Nm of max torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-Speed manual gearbox.
The upgraded Cedia sedan has a seven-inch Mapmyindia 3G Android tablet that will enable customers to make calls, surf the internet and also provide video-chatting facilities, besides offering navigation support. As a bonus, the company has given a facility where in , the tablet can be mounted either on the windscreen or at the back of the headrest of the front row to provide some in-car entertainment to the rear seat passengers. The tablet is connected to a 12 volt power supply in the car that keeps its battery running.
The car carries a 4-speaker Kenwood DVD player with a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface and also a reverse parking camera.
The Cedia sedan comes equipped with safety features, including day and night rear view mirror, front airbags and child-protection rear lock and is available in three colours - White Speed, Black Flash and Rally Red.
