"Wipro will be providing infrastructure as a service for mainframe, mid-range, storage, cloud and end user services in addition to a multilingual service desk for RSA employees in all the regions," Wipro said in a filing to BSE.
This will enable pan-European standardisation, improved end-to-end responsibility and a platform for business-led collaboration, Wipro added.
The agreement follows a 10-month sourcing programme, which included 20 bidders, and reflects RSA s aim to drive benefits through consolidation of services across its regional businesses.
"The partnership is a major step forward in their Group technology strategy enabling it to provide a market-leading, agile, affordable and secure infrastructure platform," said Darren Price, Group CIO, RSA.
"We see this as a key enabler for RSA to achieve the desired business outcomes from their IT investments," Shaji Farooq, President and Chief Executive, BFSI, Wipro said.
