FM Nirmala Sitharaman: Digi India Has Democratised Market Access For All Including Farmers

With India's Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) having fostered inclusive growth and prosperity for all, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has termed ‘Agri Stack’ as the next big thing. Speaking at the one-day Global Economic Policy Forum 2024 hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in New Delhi, the Finance Minister listed the economic benefits the nation’s digital backbone and ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) have brought for citizens. “Farmers are now able to access the global markets due to the advantage of technology. I'm sure that 'Agri Stack' will be the next big thing to you will hear coming out of India,” she said at the forum.
