Nikkhil Masurkar, CEO of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, clarifies that PresVu Eye Drops are not a replacement for reading glasses but offer a therapeutic option for individuals with presbyopia. He emphasizes that the decision to use PresVu should be made by a doctor, as it is not a permanent solution to eliminate the need for glasses. Clinical trials have shown that PresVu is safe and effective, with minor side effects such as temporary irritation or redness occurring in about 2% of patients. These side effects are generally transient and disappear as the eyes adapt to the drops. The clinical trial results will soon be published in a peer-reviewed journal, providing further insights into its safety and efficacy.
