Elon Musk has ignited a storm in the United Kingdom with his bold social media posts. The Tesla CEO and owner of X (formerly Twitter) has drawn attention to the decades-long exploitation of vulnerable young British girls by predominantly Pakistani grooming gangs in the UK. Musk highlighted the harrowing stories of countless white girls, some as young as 12, from disadvantaged backgrounds who were preyed upon in what he describes as a “soul-numbing” crisis. What’s even more troubling is the alleged inaction of British administrations and governments over the years. Was it fear of being labelled Islamophobic? Excessive political correctness? Or something even more sinister, as some have suggested? At the centre of Musk’s attacks is British PM Keir Starmer who was earlier a top prosecutor in this case.
