The Delhi assembly elections have created a deep divide within the INDIA alliance, exposing cracks in the opposition's unity. With TMC, SP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) backing AAP over Congress, the stage is set for a triangular contest between AAP, Congress, and BJP. Amid the escalating war of words, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has accused Congress of colluding with BJP in Delhi, reigniting tensions within the alliance. AAP’s earlier demand to oust Congress from the INDIA alliance over controversial remarks by Congress leaders has added to the strain. As Congress reels from electoral setbacks in Haryana and Maharashtra, it finds itself isolated, with some of its own leaders appearing to lean towards AAP. The situation has provided fresh ammunition for BJP, further complicating the opposition’s position ahead of the elections.
