In an interview with Business Today TV, Vivek Sahni, founder of Kama Ayurveda, reflected on the brand's 20-year journey. Starting small, it has now grown to 65 stores, including two in the UK, and 100 shop-in-shop locations. Sahni emphasized that building the brand was a slow and deliberate process, with constant tweaks to products over time. He acknowledged the challenges of scaling, noting that "nobody is ever fully happy with how revenues pan out." Looking ahead to 2025, Sahni revealed plans for new hair and skincare products, alongside the brand’s continued expansion in India and abroad. He also highlighted a shift in consumer behaviour, as Ayurvedic skincare has moved from being a luxury to a regular staple, especially in the post-pandemic era. Sahni also discussed the brand's focus on sustainability and its appeal to younger generations embracing plant-based products.
