At the India Today Conclave, Pramod Gubbi, Co-Founder of Marcellus, spoke about India’s young investor base and long-term equity investing. With a median investor age of just 33, he noted that systematic investing through SIPs allows young Indians to take advantage of equities’ long-term potential despite short-term volatility. Gubbi emphasized that awareness and education, led by the mutual fund industry, are key to ensuring investors remain committed. He highlighted that with a long investment runway, the young demographic can build wealth steadily, navigating temporary market downturns while staying focused on retirement and financial goals.
