Prime Minister Modi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Rakesh Jhujhunwala Sankara Eye Hospital in his Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. PM Modi in a heartfelt remembrance, reflected on his friendship with the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. He acknowledged Jhunjhunwala's significant presence in the business world and highlighted his commitment to charitable work, which continues to inspire today. Modi expressed gratitude towards Jhunjhunwala's family, particularly Rekha ji, for carrying forward his legacy. The Prime Minister also recalled his efforts in bringing Shankara Eye Hospital and Chitrakoot Eye Hospital to Varanasi, thanking both institutions for responding to the needs of the people of Kashi.
