Union Minister Piyush Goyal unveiled the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR), a digital platform aimed at fostering collaboration between startups, investors, mentors, and government bodies. During the event Goyal also proposed the creation of a new township dedicated entirely to startups. “We should aspire to go beyond. We should aim to establish our own Silicon Valley. While Bengaluru is often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India, it's time we consider partnering with NICDC to create a brand new township for entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, and disruptors,” Goyal stated.
