Piyush Goyal Urges Accelerated Action On India-EU Trade Relations For Economic Growth

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized the need for concrete steps to eliminate existing trade barriers and accelerate negotiations towards a free trade agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union (EU). Addressing the Italy-India Business, Science and Technology Forum, Goyal highlighted the potential for substantial growth beyond the current bilateral trade of $15 billion. He stressed the importance of mutual cooperation and trust-building to overcome obstacles hindering the agreement.
