The Prime Minister further elaborated on the Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal Policy, simplifying land leasing procedures and ensuring transparency through online processes. He mentioned the establishment of Gati Shakti University and emphasized modernization initiatives, such as abolishing unmanned crossings and implementing automatic signaling systems. PM Modi reiterated the focus on 100% electrification of railways, solar-powered stations, and the establishment of Jan Aushadhi Kendras at railway stations. He emphasized the creation of a ‘Made in India’ ecosystem in railways, with locomotives and coaches being exported to various countries. The Prime Minister highlighted the positive impact on employment opportunities and assured that the rejuvenation of railways and new investments would drive further economic growth.
