Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, speaking in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, emphasized India's global leadership in renewable energy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. He highlighted India’s position as both the fifth-largest and fastest-growing economy in the world. Joshi credited Modi's efforts as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, where he championed the advancement of renewable energy, making Gujarat a leader in the green energy sector. As Prime Minister, Modi expanded this mission to the global stage, promoting clean energy and sustainability as core objectives for India's future. Joshi invoked ancient Indian texts like the Rig Veda and the Gayathri Mantra to underline the nation's longstanding commitment to environmental conservation. He further noted that under Modi's leadership, India's renewable energy capacity increased by 175% from 2014 to 2023, significantly contributing to global sustainability efforts. This vision aligns with the philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" – the world is one family.
