PNB Housing Finance's MD & CEO Girish Kousgi On Q1 Results, And FY25 Plans

In Q1 FY25, PNB Housing Finance demonstrated significant growth and strong performance across multiple metrics. Disbursements increased by 19% YoY to INR 4,398 crore, with retail disbursement making up 99% of this figure. Emerging markets and the affordable segment contributed 33% to retail disbursements. The Retail Loan Asset grew by 14.4% YoY to INR 65,157 crore, which accounts for 97.3% of the total Loan Asset. The affordable loan book crossed the INR 2,000 crore mark, reaching INR 2,361 crore. Overall, the Loan Asset stood at INR 66,986 crore, registering an 11% YoY growth. PNB Housing Finance expanded its pan-India presence to 303 branches, with 160 branches dedicated to the Affordable segment and 50 to the Emerging Segment. The company's Gross NPA declined by 241 bps to 1.35%, and Net NPA fell to 0.92%. During the quarter, PNB Housing resolved one NPA and one written-off corporate account, recovering approximately INR 80 crore from the total written-off pool. Profit after Tax rose by 25% YoY to INR 433 crore, and the Return on Asset stood at 2.38% for Q1 FY25. The Capital Risk Adequacy Ratio was 29.50%, with Tier I at 28.43%. Retail loans grew by 14% YoY to INR 65,157 crore, while corporate loans were reduced by 46% YoY to INR 1,829 crore.
