
Union Minister and RPI-Athawale President, Ramdas Athawale, expressed his views on the ongoing political Situation in Maharashtra. Athawale stated that the issue should be resolved soon, with BJP's high command deciding to appoint Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister. However, he mentioned that Eknath Shinde, the current CM, is unhappy with this arrangement. Athawale suggested that Shinde should step back, similar to how Fadnavis had once worked under Shinde's leadership. He proposed that Shinde should accept the role of Deputy CM Athawale emphasized the importance of Eknath Shinde and his 57 MLAs, stating that a quick compromise is necessary. He also urged that his party be granted a ministerial post in the expanded cabinet, a request he had previously made to Fadnavis.
