Chandrasekaran emphasized the group's special connection with Gujarat, tracing back to its origins in Navsari. Currently employing over 50,000 people in the state, Tata Group has committed to significant expansions. This includes Sanand becoming a hub for electric vehicle technology, with plans for a 20 GW lithium-ion battery giga factory.
