U.S. VP: Restricting Development Of AI Will Paralyse Its Vast Scope

Listen to United States Vice President J D Vance lay out the Trump administration’s policy on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Speaking on the second day of the AI Action Summit in Paris, Vance said that AI will have countless revolutionary applications in economic innovation, job creation, national security, health care, free expression and beyond. Vance added that restricting this development will not only unfairly benefit the existing players in the space but also paralyse one of the most promising technologies seen in generations. He also laid out the four defining policies of the new U.S. government in AI.
