
At Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, Mohan Bhagwat stressed the need to make knowledge accessible to all by promoting education in one’s mother tongue. Addressing a gathering, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief said learning in regional languages has greater impact and cited Finland’s education model, where students study in their mother tongue till Class 8. Bhagwat also spoke on sustainability and global cooperation, warning against a self-centric worldview. Using a parable, he said societies cannot survive by looking out only for themselves, as the world is interconnected and collective responsibility is essential for long-term harmony and progress.
