BSEB releases Class 12 results; girls outperform boys againThe Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results of the Class 12 annual examinations. The results were declared during a joint press conference by Education Minister Sunil Kumar and Board Chairman Anand Kishore.
According to the board, a total of 85.19% students have passed the examination this year. Continuing the trend seen in previous years, girls outperformed boys in the results. The pass percentage among girls stood at 86.23%, while 84.09% of boys cleared the examination.

Students are advised to keep their roll numbers and login credentials ready to avoid delays in accessing their marksheets.
The Bihar Board conducted the Class 12 examinations from February 2 to 13, 2026, for a total of 13,17,846 students, including 6,75,844 girls and 6,42,002 boys. To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject.
Along with the results, the board has also released stream-wise pass percentages and the list of toppers.
Among female candidates, 5,78,611 out of 6,70,971 students passed, recording a pass percentage of 86.23 per cent.
Among male candidates, 5,32,486 out of 6,33,229 students cleared the exam, with a pass percentage of 84.09 per cent.
Aditi Kumari topped the BSEB Inter 2026 exams with 480 marks, followed by Mani Kumari in second place with 463 marks.
