Chunchura Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the CHUNCHURA Assembly seat will take place in the second phase on April 29, 2026.

Vote counting and the declaration of results for the CHUNCHURA Assembly seat, along with all constituencies of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, will be held on May 4, 2026.

In the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021, the CHUNCHURA seat was won by AITC. The winning candidate, Asit Mazumder (Tapan), secured 117104 votes. The runner-up was from BJP, whose candidate Locket Chatterjee received 98687 votes.

In the 2021 election for the CHUNCHURA seat, AITC candidate Asit Mazumder (Tapan) won with 117104 votes. They defeated BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee by a margin of 18417 votes. Locket Chatterjee received 98687 votes in total.

In the 2021 election for the CHUNCHURA seat, the runner-up was BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee. They were defeated by AITC candidate Asit Mazumder (Tapan). Locket Chatterjee secured a total of 98687 votes, losing by a margin of 18417 votes.
