Kulti Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the KULTI Assembly seat will take place in the first phase on April 23, 2026.

Vote counting and the declaration of results for the KULTI Assembly seat, along with all constituencies of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, will be held on May 4, 2026.

In the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021, the KULTI seat was won by BJP. The winning candidate, Ajay Kumar Poddar, secured 81112 votes. The runner-up was from AITC, whose candidate Ujjal Chatterjee received 80433 votes.

In the previous election in KULTI, Ajay Kumar Poddar secured victory as a candidate from BJP. They received a total of 81112 votes, accounting for a vote share of 46.4%.

In the 2021 election for the KULTI seat, BJP candidate Ajay Kumar Poddar won with 81112 votes. They defeated AITC candidate Ujjal Chatterjee by a margin of 679 votes. Ujjal Chatterjee received 80433 votes in total.

In the 2021 election for the KULTI seat, the runner-up was AITC candidate Ujjal Chatterjee. They were defeated by BJP candidate Ajay Kumar Poddar. Ujjal Chatterjee secured a total of 80433 votes, losing by a margin of 679 votes.

The West Bengal Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) has a total of 294 seats. Public representatives are elected directly.
