Singur Assembly Election 2026

Polling for the SINGUR Assembly seat will take place in the second phase on April 29, 2026.

Vote counting and the declaration of results for the SINGUR Assembly seat, along with all constituencies of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, will be held on May 4, 2026.

In the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021, the SINGUR seat was won by AITC. The winning candidate, Becharam Manna, secured 101077 votes. The runner-up was from BJP, whose candidate Rabindranath Bhattacharya received 75154 votes.

In the previous election in SINGUR, Becharam Manna secured victory as a candidate from AITC. They received a total of 101077 votes, accounting for a vote share of 48.1%.

In the 2021 election for the SINGUR seat, AITC candidate Becharam Manna won with 101077 votes. They defeated BJP candidate Rabindranath Bhattacharya by a margin of 25923 votes. Rabindranath Bhattacharya received 75154 votes in total.

In the 2021 election for the SINGUR seat, the runner-up was BJP candidate Rabindranath Bhattacharya. They were defeated by AITC candidate Becharam Manna. Rabindranath Bhattacharya secured a total of 75154 votes, losing by a margin of 25923 votes.

The West Bengal Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) has a total of 294 seats. Public representatives are elected directly.
