MOFSL said Blue Star is steadily gaining market share in the Indian RAC segment. Its share improved to 14 per cent in FY25 from 7 per cent in FY14. The company is now targeting 15 per cent share by FY27E.
Voltas Q2 earnings: Revenue fell 10% to Rs 2347 crore in Q2 from Rs 2619 crore in the year-ago period, Voltas said.

Blue Star Ltd surged 8.77 per cent to Rs 1,940.60. Amber Enterprises India shares climbed 8.74 per cent to Rs 7,495. Voltas advanced 5.98 per cent to Rs 1,351.45. Havells India Ltd jumped 4.18 per cent to Rs 1,541.15.
According to brokerage Anand Rathi, the company's performance was hit by an "erratic summer", with its unitary cooling products (UCP) segment recording a 25 per cent year-on-year (YoY) drop in sales during the quarter.
Domestic brokerages shared mixed reviews on Voltas stock following an analyst meet. Analysts highlighted challenges such as a decline in sales and margin pressures, while maintaining varied ratings from 'Buy' to 'Neutral'.
Voltas and Blue Star are down 31 per cent each year-to-date. Over the last 15 years, weak or erratic summers have consistently disrupted RAC demand and triggered sharp stock corrections (30-40 per cent) for UCP players.
Stock market crashed: Select stocking including Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, Ipca Labs, Voltas, Suven Pharma tumbled up to 20 per cent during the trading on Tuesday.
Voltas said it saw its RAC revenue growing at 35 per cent in the April 2024–February 2025 period against a 30 per cent growth for the industry.
Voltas share price: The counter traded higher than the 5-day, 10-, 20-day and 30-day simple moving averages (SMAs) but lower than the 50-day, 100-, 150-day and 200-day SMAs. Its 14-day relative strength index (RSI) came at 53.56. A level below 30 is defined as oversold while a value above 70 is considered overbought.
An analyst from Axis Securities said that Jio Financial Services is currently trading at its lowest levels since its listing and has underperformed relative to the broader market in recent times.
