Lanco Infratech June quarter loss narrows to Rs 272 cr

Lanco Infratech on Saturday reported consolidated net loss of Rs 272.11 crore for the quarter ended June against Rs 565.15 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

The infra firm reported Rs 2,538 crore in income from operations in the June quarter against Rs 2,564 crore in the same period of last fiscal. Lanco Infratech Ltd is an infrastructure developer involved in construction power and real estate.

On August 13, Adani Power said it would acquire Lanco Infratech's 1,200 MW Udupi thermal plant in a deal worth over Rs 6,000 crore.
Adani Power would acquire Lanco Infratech's 1,200 MW imported coal-fired Udupi thermal power plant in Karnataka.
