Meru Cabs promises transparent pricing with new app feature

Meru Cabs has launched a new feature which promises transparent pricing to its customers.

With the fare calculator called 'Fare Exactometer', customers can know the exact fare of their trip at the time of booking a cab from the Meru Cabs App.

"With the launch of Exactometer, we aim to simplify traveler's lives and ensure a more convenient and hassle free travel experience at affordable prices.", said Siddhartha Pahwa, CEO, Meru Cabs.

In metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai, travellers face complex fare structures due to surge pricing during peak hours.

Meru promises to end confusion and offer clarity to its users in the fares they will have to pay irrespective of travel conditions, such as traffic congestion and late hours.

Specific fares for predefined travel routes are ascertained and the total fare will be equal or lower than the fares prescribed by State Transport Authority.

Recently, Meru also communicated its 'No hidden, No Surge, No Ride Time or No Cancellation Charge' policy to customers.

The 'Fare Exactometer' is available in all major cities where Meru is operational. It is available on Meru's Android app and will soon be launched on other platforms as well.
