PC: India TodayBJP's Delhi unit spokesperson Tajinder Singh Bagga found a unique way to celebrate the party's winning streak in Gujarat. Referring to Congress leader Alpesh Thakor's jibe on PM Modi, Bagga brought a cake with pictures of mushrooms on it and cut a slice up for everyone.
Bagga, displaying the cake, in front of the cameras said, "This is a simple, inexpensive cake but it is a befitting reply to those who brought politics to this level." "We will cut the cake here and distribute it here, everyone is invited. Every citizen is invited," he further added.

Thakor didn't stop there, he also said, "He was dark like me but he became fair because of imported mushrooms."
With this comment, the Congress leader sought to refute BJP's claim that the PM is the voice of the poor and the farmers in Gujarat. He wanted to insinuate that a person who consumes such exotic food worth Rs 4 lakh a day cannot eat dal chawal like the rest of the people.
Thakor received backlash from Twitterati for his remark but looks like Bagga is not going to let this go anytime soon.
