Range revolution
Worried about running out of charge on a long motorcycle ride? The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom now packs a larger 11 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 343 km, up from 323 km. The company says the battery delivers 20% higher energy density and twice the cooling performance. There's also a smaller 7.5 kWh option with a claimed 227 km range. And despite the bigger batteries, the bike has become lighter! (Images : www.ultraviolette.com)

Price bombshell
An electric superbike experience starting at ₹2.65 lakh? Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette has launched the new X-47 Venom with a powerful 100V architecture, longer range and improved performance. But there's a catch! The introductory prices are valid only for the first 5,000 customers. After that, every variant will become ₹35,000 more expensive. The top-end Recon+ variant currently costs ₹3.99 lakh.

Speed monster
Zero to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds! The X-47 Venom isn't holding back on performance. Its new 30 kW electric motor produces 40 bhp and a massive 550 Nm of torque at the wheel. Ultraviolette claims the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 km/h, 10 km/h faster than before. Surprisingly, the redesigned components have also helped cut weight by up to 20 kg.

Safety arsenal
What if your electric motorcycle could warn you about vehicles hiding in your blind spot? The X-47 Venom gets an integrated rear radar, front and rear dashcams, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear collision warnings. It also introduces a pyro-fuse designed to disconnect the electrical circuit within microseconds of detecting a critical fault. Add a larger 7-inch TFT display, cruise control and 12 kW fast-charging support, and this electric bike is packed with technology.
