The River Indie packs a 4kWh lithium-ion battery with an IP67 rating and a claimed IDC range of 160 km. But there's a catch: this is a test-cycle figure, and actual range will depend on traffic, riding style and road conditions.

Speed rush

Don't let its practical design fool you. The River Indie packs a motor delivering 6.7kW of peak power and 26Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. With a top speed of 90 kmph and three riding modes, Eco, Ride and Rush, this electric scooter is built for more than just short neighbourhood trips.

Storage monster

Forget struggling to fit groceries or shopping bags on your scooter. The River Indie offers a massive 43-litre underseat compartment and a 12-litre front glovebox, giving riders 55 litres of combined storage. Add 14-inch alloy wheels, a six-inch colour display, USB charging and parking assistance, and its everyday practicality becomes a major selling point.

Festive temptation

Starting at ₹1.52 lakh (ex-showroom), the River Indie is positioning itself as a practical festive-season purchase. Buyers can choose from five colours: Monsoon Blue, Summer Red, Spring Yellow, Winter White and Storm Grey. But the price isn't the only consideration: charging from 0 to 80% takes five hours with a 750W charger or eight hours with a 480W unit.
