Plantronics, a US-based company that
specialises in audio communications for businesses and consumers, has launched a Bluetooth headset designed especially for India.
Priced at Rs 1,199, the compact ML 2 can be paired with two phones at the same time. It has a clear sound that digitally suppresses background noise and supports voice-dial feature. The
silicone ear tip makes the 10-gram device comfortable to wear in either ear. It offers six hours of talk time with a stand of nine days.
The company has also upgraded its BackBeat Go Bluetooth headset.
The new BackBeat Go 2 wireless stereo earbud is aimed at music and media enthusiasts and mobile professionals. It has sweat-proof coating with P2i moisture protection technology that sheaths it from rain, sweat and water spills.
The BackBeat Go 2 has a rich bass, crisp highs and natural mid tones for music and movies. It has got voice prompt alert about the remaining charge and works in an operating distance of 10 meters. The device offers approximately five hours of talk time on a 2.5-hour full charge.
Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 will be available in black and white for Rs 4,990.
For an extra Rs 1,000, customers can opt for the charging and carrying case. The case is capable of charging the headset twice on full power and can be used with other devices that use the same port. It will be available as a standalone accessory too in the future.
