Yash Chopra's last directorial venture,
Jab Tak Hai Jaan,
continues to rake in big money at the box office. The romantic saga has collected
Rs 101.26 crore domestically in just 11 days after its release on the box office.
Made at a budget of Rs 50 crore,
Jab Tak Hai Jaan has now surpassed the Rs 100-crore mark in the Indian market, even though it had crossed the milestone figure overall (accounting worldwide collections) within six days of hitting the screens.
Despite mixed reviews from all quarters,
Jab Tak Hai Jaan had grossed over Rs 120 crore from all over the world, even as it had managed to get Rs 80.73 crore in India.
The movie, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, released on 2,500 screens on the
auspicious occasion of Diwali - a Tuesday.
The figures seem set to rise further considering the buzz surrounding the movie. Chopra took up the project eight years after helming Veer-Zaara.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan has also brought back Shah Rukh in his classic romantic avatar, which his female fans love him for.
