Review: F&D's F680 speakers

Interestingly, even at highest volume, the performance was impressive. This can be easily used for watching movies, playing games or only enjoying music.

F&D FENDA F680
Price:
Rs 4,500

The latest speaker in the G&G test lab came from F&D Fenda. A not-so-familiar brand in the speaker space, Fenda offers great sound for its price. The speaker we put to test is the new 2.1 channel F680. The wooden cabinet sub woofer, which connects to the two satellite speakers using RCA cables, has a metal grill design that makes it look good.

Both the satellite speakers are tilted at 11 degrees for a better sound dispersion. But the usual auxiliary cable that connects the PC to the speaker is replaced by a compact, circular connector. It has got an auxiliary port at one end that connects into a PC and the audio output goes into the subwoofer. Added functionality has been added to the controller as it come with a earphone jack and a knob at the top for volume control, in addition to the volume and bass control on the subwoofer. The sound output was loud and had full bass that could be adjusted as needed. Interestingly, even at highest volume, the performance was impressive. This can be easily used for watching movies, playing games or only enjoying music.

BAG IT OR JUNK IT? Offers great value for money.
