The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 1,051.53 points, or 2.7%, while the S&P 500 dropped 2.8%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite fared worse, losing 3.1% in intraday basis on April 21.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 629 points, or 1.6%, while the S&P 500 fell 2.1%. The Nasdaq Composite slid 2.9%, giving back a portion of Wednesday’s massive gains.
Nasdaq and S&P 500 indices rose by 1% as markets opened, despite China raising tariffs on US products, amid a volatile trading environment and rising Treasury bond yields.
