Zee signs definitive agreement to merge with Sony

Three months to the day they announced a plan for the merger, Zee Entertainment has signed a definitive agreement to merge with Sony Pictures Networks. The new entity will be a publicly listed company with Zee’s Punit Goenka continuing at its MD and CEO.
