Gautam Berry has over 8 years’ experience in Indian Equities. He is the Fund Manager of Event Arbitrage PMS Investment Approach at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited. He also plays an integral part in managing Alternative Equity, Catalyst and Consumer Trends Fund. Before joining Edelweiss AMC in the year 2014, he was a consultant at Transfolign Consulting, where his core competence included business transformation, development of processes & control systems. He also received recognition for successfully conducting business entry studies using available market data, projecting growth trends and advising on investment decision. He is a CFA Charter holder from CFA Institute with Master of Science in Finance from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA and Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University.
Utsav Mehta, CFA is the Fund Manager for Alternative Equities at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited and manages the Catalyst & Consumer Trends Fund. He plays an integral role in the management of the Alternative Equity Fund as well. Utsav has over a decade of experience in fundamental research and Indian equities. Prior to joining Edelweiss, Utsav was the Head of industrials and infrastructure at Ambit Capital’s Institutional Equities team. He was a part of #1 Asia money ranked India Industrial research team for 2 years in a row in that role. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a graduate from Mumbai University. Utsav strongly believes that learning, humility and self-critique are the cornerstones to excel at any aspect!
Yashodhan Nerurkar specializes primarily in BFSI & having experience across pharmaceuticals & healthcare & auto OE segments. His role includes evaluating & parsing through businesses & identifying suitable investment opportunities. Prior to this, he has 6 years of experience working as a research analyst with PPFAS Mutual Fund. His role included evaluating investment opportunities in BFSI, power & commercial real estate space. With over 6 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst, he's a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) & holds CFA charter from (USA Institute) Outside professional pursuits, he's a motorbiking & football enthusiast & an avid reader; combing through books on various subjects and languages.
Prolin Nandu is an accomplished expert in institutional equities with 14 years of experience in the industry. For 9 of those years, he was an integral member of GMO, where he played a vital role in managing an emerging markets fund valued at approximately USD 2.5 billion, with specific oversight of India exposure amounting to around USD 500 million. His extensive career encompasses tracking multiple sectors and companies across different market capitalisations.Prolin possesses prestigious qualifications, holding both a CFA and an MBA, which enhanced his passion for investing.
