Before his current role, he was the VP – Research & Advisory at Orowealth, where he played a pivotal role in shaping investment and advisory strategies. His skills in financial dealings and deal structuring were further honed when he was the Assistant Manager, Investment Banking, at Edelweiss Financial Services. Hemal Shah brings to the table extensive market experience that spans over 14 years. He currently holds the position of a Fund Manager at Torus Oro AMC, bringing his experience in wealth management to manage portfolios for HNI clients and drive investment strategies. Hemal started his journey in this sector as a DNT Executive in Sharekhan in 2009. From there he transitioned to Angel Broking where he was an equity advisor to NRI clients, offering tailored investment advice. His career rajectory continued to manage 250 clients in equity advisory and portfolio restructuring during his stint at ICICI Securities. Post that he spent nearly half a decade with Aditya Birla Capital, where he oversaw portfolios worth over 150 crores on Non-Discretionary PMS. As a Fund Manager with Torus Oro, Hemal manages portfolios worth over INR 100 Cr. Hemal Shah's vision revolves around an underlying approach to active management, aiming to capitalize on market volatility and steady information flow to the benefit of his clients.
