He has headed the India businesses for global asset managers such as Alliance Capital (now AllianceBernstein), ABN AMRO and BNP Paribas. During many of these stints, Nikhil served on the Indian Boards of these firms whilst also actively contributing as a member of their Asian Management teams. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). Nikhil started his career with ICICI Limited (now ICICI Bank) and went on to manage treasury portfolios in ANZ Bank with a stint in the bank’s global treasury unit at Sydney, Australia, which is one of the most developed financial markets in the world. He later managed investment portfolios as Treasurer of a prominent Indian Corporate. Nikhil’s vast experience across various domains makes him among the very few professionals in India with insights into interlinkages within the Indian Financial Sector. He founded Trivantage Capital to focus on this very attractive emerging opportunity in India at the time when the Indian Financial Sector landscape is set to change like never before. He has built a proprietary investment model for stock selection that blends his assessment of factors such as robustness of business strategy and credibility of management teams while benefiting from his close association with leaders of some of the best known banks & financial services firms in the country. Nikhil is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
