HCL Infosystems shares jump over 5% on partnership with Dell

HCL Infosystems shares closed at Rs 33.75, up 5.63 per cent against their previous close. The scrip had opened at Rs 32 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 35.30 and Rs 30.65.

HCL Infosystems shares jump over 5% on partnership with Dell

HCL Infosystems shares jumped around 6 per cent after the company said it has entered a strategic partnership with Dell, the world's fastest-growing large integrated IT company.

Under the partnership, HCL will leverage its pan-India network of partners to distribute Dell's entire hardware and software products. It will significantly widen the reach of Dell's products especially in tier 2 and tier 3 locations across the country.

"Both Dell and HCL are committed to expanding the range of solutions and reach in the marketplace in order to expand the customer base and depth of client relationship," the filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange said.

HCL Infosystems is India's premier IT Services, solutions and distribution company enabling organisations to attain and sustain competitive advantage by leveraging Information and communication technologies.

HCL Infosystems shares closed at Rs 33.75, up 5.63 per cent against their previous close. The scrip had opened at Rs 32 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 35.30 and Rs 30.65.

The BSE Sensex gained 100 points to 26,686.51 on Tuesday.
