Gadgets & Gizmos gives you five tips to save a wet phone -
1. DO NOT switch on the device to see if it is working.
2. REMOVE THE back panel, battery, SIM card and memory card from the phone and dry it with a towel.
3. PLACE THE phone in an air-tight bag full of raw rice for absorbing moisture over night or even a couple of days.
4. DO NOT use a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner to dry the phone.
5. KEEP IT under a strong light such as a table lamp that can evaporate the moisture.
